For NEW households an additional $225 initation fee applies. Full rate details are included in the membership application.
What’s included with my membership?
Rockville Center membership includes access to many of the facilities that make our community special.
Members enjoy access to: the pool, playground, and tennis courts

Rockville is more than just a pool, it’s a place for neighbors and families to gather, celebrate, and enjoy time together.
Can I combine households from the same family?
We respectfully ask that households are not combined under a single membership. The Rockville Center is a small, private, nonprofit organization that relies on membership fees to keep our facilities open, safe, and thriving for generations to come. Memberships are intended only for those who actually reside full-time in your household.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us maintain the integrity of our community and continue offering the programs and amenities we all enjoy.
I have a babysitter/nanny or Grandparent who helps with my children. How does that work?
Babysitters or nannies and grandparent who assists with childcare can be added to your household membership for an additional fee as a non-household caregiver. Caregivers are only allowed at the pool when accompanying children from your household membership. They may not visit on their own or bring guests.
What about infants? Do they need to be included on my membership?
Infants under 1 year old (as of June 1) may be added to your membership at no charge. Please still include them on your membership form so we can have an accurate count of members and ensure proper safety protocols are followed. Of course you may pay the $55 fee and help support the center if you are willing/able we appreciate it!
Can I bring guests to the pool?
Yes! Guest passes are available. You may prepay for a 10-pack of guest passes for $40, or pay $5 per guest at the gate. All guests must be accompanied by a current member. Guest passes paid for in advance are tracked by index card at the guard station.
What if I’m not swimming? Do I still need to be a member or pay a guest fee?
Yes – all individuals entering the pool area must either be listed on a membership or pay the guest fee, even if they don’t plan to swim. Our guards are focused on keeping everyone safe in and around the water and aren’t able to track who is or isn’t swimming. We appreciate your understanding and ask that all visitors simply pay the guest fee to help us keep things running smoothly.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we do accept card payments and no additonal processing fee is applied! Information about payment via card is included in the membership application.
How long does it take to process my application?
The Rockville Center is run entirely by volunteers, so we appreciate your patience while we review applications. Once your membership form and payment are received, the membership committee will review your information and send a confirmation email.
During busy registration periods, please allow up to about one week for processing. We do our best to review applications as quickly as possible!
Do you offer any discounts for seniors, first responders or military families?
Yes! New for 2026 – As a small thank you to members of our community, The Rockville Center now offers a 5% membership discount for seniors, first responders, active duty military, and veterans.
Please indicate eligibility on the membership application when completing your form.
Please note: The discount applies to membership fees only and does not apply to guest passes, late fees, concessions, or other purchases throughout the season.
Do you offer day passes?
No, The Rockville Center does not offer public day passes.
To enter the facility, you must either be a Rockville Center member or a guest of a member using a guest pass.
This policy helps us keep the pool comfortable, safe, and enjoyable for our members and their families throughout the season.
Can I try the pool before purchasing a membership?
We do not offer day passes or trial days. However, you’re welcome to stop by and take a look around during regular pool hours.
Just check in at the guard house and let the lifeguard know you’re interested in membership and would like to see the pool. We’re always happy to show prospective members what Rockville is all about.
Can my child participate in swim team if we are not pool members?
No. Per GRAL (Greater Richmond Aquatic League) rules, all swimmers must be members of the pool where they swim.
In addition, Rockville Center memberships must be held by an adult (18 or older), so children cannot hold their own membership for the purpose of participating on the swim team.
If your child would like to join the Rockville swim team, a household membership with the center is required.
